We have tried to grow it for the ...Forget cilantro. We have tried to grow it for the last 6 years and only last year were we at all successful. This year's plant died in early June. As for tomatoes - we have an amazing crop! We planted 6 varieties in a relatively small space - a planter about 2.5' square with a built-in reservoir - and used soil with fertilizer. We also have a full-sized tomato in a plant on its own, and it's got about 5 big green ones on it at the moment.
