REVIEW: Graeter's Ice Cream

So Memorial Day Weekend is here and I know a number of you plan to host or attend some parties, so let me give you some advice if you are unsure about dessert - find some Graeter's Ice Cream and you're good to go!

Graeter's originated in Ohio, but it started to become well known after it was featured on The Food Network and after someone named Oprah became a fan (see her review here) :)

I was sent four pints of ice cream to try, and I was quite happy to oblige :)  Dan and I hosted a BBQ dinner with our families and we all had a taste test for dessert.

Everyone was pretty excited about this line-up

The flavors they sent me were Vanilla Chocolate Chip, Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chocolate Chip and Mint Chocolate Chip.  And when they say chocolate chips they actually mean chocolate fudge chunks! Even directly out of the freezer, these HUGE chunks were still chewy and actually tasted DELICIOUS unlike most other chocolate chips in ice cream which are usually small, hard and bitter.

The ice cream itself is creamy and luscious, but the chocolate chunks really steal the show. My favorite out of all the flavors was the Chocolate Chocolate Chip.  If you love chocolate, this is THE ice cream for you - it's just pure decadence!  The Vanilla Chip was a perfect original and I could totally see it being an amazing addition to something like this this.   The Black Raspberry tasted like a mild chocolate berry and though it was not my favorite, I still ate it because of the fudge chunks hahaha

Anyway, you bet your boots I'm buying this ice cream again!  I loved it!  So get yourself to Mars, Weis or The Fresh Market and buy yourself a pint!

DISCLAIMER: I was sent four pints of Graeter's Ice Cream to review for free, but these opinions are entirely my own.

Yogurt Maker Envy

(From here)

I have a case of yogurt maker envy

and it is bad.

So, let's get one thing clear - I love yogurt. I like to try lots of different kinds of yogurts. I like to buy yogurt every week for my lunch, and I like to try all sorts of brands. I think it's safe to say that I am obsessed.

But one of my friends has taken it a step further. She bought that yogurt maker pictured above.

She brought over a cup of just plain low-fat yogurt she made and it was perfection. It didn't need any additives!!!! It was creamy and light, and had the texture of creme fraiche. I had it for dinner one night with a side of blueberries, and I couldn't have been happier.

I am not ready to move my bread maker aside and buy a new gadget for my kitchen, but I am quite intrigued to say the least.

If this has piqued your interest in buying some new kitchen gadgets, use these Williams Sonoma coupons to help you save!

There are some great yogurt makers on sale on Amazon as well (like this one).
Free shipping.
Could be here in two days.
All ready for the weekend....

Do any of you own a yogurt maker? OR even better, do you make your own homemade yogurt?

Biscoff Spread

 (Image taken from here)

Welcome to my totally random, but necessary, post. This weekend while I was in Austin TX, I found a new love in my life - Biscoff Spread

This spread is smooth and sweet and is apparently "Europe's Alternative to Peanut Butter."  It tastes like spreadable gingerbread (which makes sense since it's made using crushed Belgian spice cookies), and it is a DELIGHT!  It's sweeter than nut butters, so I'm not sure I would pair it with jam, but I've just been enjoying it on toasted bread.  In fact, it may become a new go-to meal before my long runs!

Now I just need to figure out where I can get it in Maryland - surely it has to be somewhere!  In the meantime, I will always have Amazon:

UPDATED 7/11/11 - According to the Biscoff website, the spread can be found in Maryland at Wegmans, Fresh Market and ShopRite!!!

Has anyone ever tried this!?  Has anyone seen this in a store around Baltimore?  Let me know!!!

Baltimore News and Info!

A ton of news for you today!  Enjoy!

  • Fleming’s has some new menu items.  They now feature a Steakhouse Cobb Salad entrée (with your choice of either lobster or filet mignon), a Seared New Bedford Scallops entrée (finished with a meyer lemon oil-honey glaze), and a Shrimp Cocktail appetizer.
  • The Food Experiments, a series of amateur cook-offs launched in Brooklyn, is coming to Washington DC with “The Taco Experiment.”  This will take place at the Rock N Roll Hotel on May 15th from 12-4PM.  Check the website for more information – this sounds like a GREAT time!
  • A new certified organic spirit called ROOT has just launched in the DC/Baltimore Area.  It’s inspired by an 18th century Pennsylvania folk recipe that evolved into Birch/Root Beer.  ROOT is available at your local liquor stores (like The Wine Source), and if not – tell them to order it!  And here’s a recipe to use it in:
    • ROOT Julep
      3 sprigs fresh mint
      1 teaspoon water
      1 teaspoon superfine sugar
      2 ounces ROOT

      1. Muddle 2 mint sprigs, the water, and the sugar in a highball/collins glass/silver julep cup
      2. Fill the glass with crushed ice, and pour in the ROOT
      3. Garnish with the remaining mint sprig
  • The Don Pablo’s in White Marsh has received the “Restaurant of the Year” award for 2010 from their parent company, Rita Restaurant Corp.  It’s been a LONG time since I’ve eaten at a Don Pablo’s – but I’m happy for them for this recognition!
  • Morton’s Steakhouse is celebrating Mother’s Day on May 8th with a special Mother’s Day menu for $59 per person (not including beverages, tax or tip).  The menu includes a choice of salad, entrée, side dish and dessert and will be open from 2-9pm to accommodate their patrons! Their a la carte dinner menu will also be available.
  • The next day, on May 9th, Morton's is hosting a Celebrity Server Fundraiser event with Matt Birk from the Ravens to benefit his HIKE Foundation.   Tickets are $250 per person (include tax, tip and valet) for a 4-course menu and a silent and live auction featuring Ravens memorabilia.
  • The next cooking class in Phillips' Cook, Crack & Eat series is The Freshest Catch on May 7th.  Learn all about fresh fish and how to select, clean and prepare it!  The cost is $50 per person and includes the chef demo, wine, lunch and a swag bag to go.
  • Freshii, a restaurant that features nutritious and sustainably grown ingredients (a concept that seems eerily familiar to those of us watching America’s Next Great Restaurant!)  is coming to Baltimore in Charles Village and Downtown.  Customers can customize their own meals whether they want salads, wraps, rice bowls, yogurts or soups! I can’t wait to check this place out!
  • Have you heard of Chef Mac’s and All That Blues?  It’s a relatively new BYOB restaurant in Hamilton and on Fridays and Saturdays they have live blues and jazz with a $25 buffet!
Phewwww!  Let me wipe that sweat from my brow, I had a LOT of press releases to tell you about!

Foodzie Box vs. Drewzie Box

FINALLY, here are my Tasting Box comparisonsThe Foodzie Box vs. the "Drewzie box"  (the box that my friend Drew gave me).  Drew went to Wegmans and spent 20-hard-earned-dollars on me just to prove a point :)  So, who won? Let's see.

February and March Foodzie Tasting boxes:

February Foodzie Box

Truffled Popcorn - NO!  Too much truffle flavor (is that terrible to say on a food blog?)!
Sweet and Spicy Candied Walnuts - Noooooo, did NOT like these.  I can't place what it was about them, but it was just a big NO for me.
Fleur de Sel & Beer and Pretzel Caramels - The beer and pretzel caramels were sooo not my kind of thing (but they are apparently a bestseller), but the Fleur de Sel one was great.
Parisian Mendiants - These are small disks of chocolate with candied orange, hazelnuts and pistachios.  These look very pretty and were tasty, too!
Almond chocolate Trail Bar - AMAZING.  It was also perfect fuel for a run!  It contained rolled oats, almonds, nutty rice, flax seeds, coconut and chocolate.  And there was no skimping on the chocolate.  Unfortunately, if I wanted to buy them online they are $50 FOR 18 BARS.  $50!!!!!!
Cabernet Brownies - These were made with wine flour - isn't that cool?  OMG they were sooo good and fudgy.

March Foodzie Box

Kale Chips - Soooooooo not my bag of chips...
Regular and Dark Chocolate Cocomels - Coconut milk caramels! So good!
Chile Pepper and Sumac Pepper Salts - Interesting idea.  I like that it came with recipe cards, but I still haven't used them.
Blue Cheese Fig Savory Shortbreads - LOVED them, and I don't even like blue cheese.  Made for a red wine pairing which is a super cute idea!
Hot Chocolate on a Stick - Cute concept, but totally annoying to actually use since it took SO LONG to melt.  It did make AMAZING hot chocolate though.
Gogi Berry & Himalyan Sea Salt Dark Chocolate Bar - Saving this and am really excited to try it!

Drewzie Box:

Drewzie Box - From Wegmans

Cranberry and Fig Sauce - This was definitely more of a chutney than a jam (which is what I was initially expecting). It was great on sandwiches!
Seitenbacher Muesli (For Active People) - BEST MUESLI IN THE WORLD.  Went to Wegmans and bought two more bags.  Need to buy more!  I'm not sure I can eat any other kind!!!!
Pretzel Crisps - YUM!  And I'm not even a big fan of pretzels.  Went to Sam's Club and bought a HUUUUGE bag of these.  Love them plain, love them with cheese, love them with hummus etc etc etc !
Pumpkin Seed Cheddar Crackers - Interesting flavor, and I liked them with cheese as well but they were VERY crunchy.  I was worried for my teeth.
Hyderabad Vegetable Pilaf - WAY too oily and spicy. Dislike!!!

Verdict:
So who do I think was the winner?  Welll......AND YOU WILL HATE ME FOR THIS: BOTH!!!!

OK, here is why.  The Drewzie Box wins because I bought more of the items for myself - so it did super well on New Customer Acquisition (I have friends in the business world who told me that phrase hahaha).  I've now had THREE Foodzie boxes, and never once did I ever feel the need to go online and buy the full-size products from Foodzie.

But the Foodzie Tasting Box wins on originality. It has definitely opened up my taste buds to things I had never tried before (Coconut milk caramels! Kale chips!  Brownies made with wine flour!), even if I didn't end up liking them (Kale chips!) I think that $20 towards a fun surprise bag of treats is worth it.  I don't have a yearly subscription though, I think it will be a once in a while treat.

So there you have it! :) Do you think I took the easy way out?  :)

Disclaimer - The February food box was sent to me for free by Foodzie, but I purchased the box for January and March.  Drewzie's box was also free!

APPLE BUTTER IS SO GOOD

I have good intentions, I really do!  I was planning on spending a whole weekend making apple butter from scratch and smelling those amazing aromas waft through my house.

But when I went to Weber's Farm to get the apples and cider, I came across their own homemade Apple Butter for $2.99.  I immediately put back my 10 apples (which were $1.99/lb) and my $3.29 1/2 gallon jug of apple cider and went on my merry way, after paying of course :)

Oh, and that apple butter is GOOD!

I've added a big heaping spoonful (or two) to cottage cheese
I've had it on toast
I've used it to make apple butter whole wheat bread
I've even spread it on my apple butter whole wheat bread!!!!

Suffice it to say, that was $3 well spent.

Are My Dreams Coming True?

Remember I told you that I loved the Chocolatea Cafe and Tea Room because it combined my two favorite things, Chocolate and Tea?

Well...I may have found something even more amazing.

THIS:

(Organic) Chocolate bars infused with tea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are the different kinds:
White Chocolate with Chamomile and Honey - Not a white chocolate OR chamomile fan, but I could imagine this would be appealing to others
Milk Chocolate with Bedouin's Mint - Chocolate and mint, always a good combo
Milk Chocolate with Honeybush Caramel - This would be interesting...although I wonder if I would miss the actual caramel
Milk Chocolate with Jasmine Tea and Tangerine Orange - I would totally try this just because I am intrigued.
Milk Chocolate with Black Masala Chai - I would DESTROY these.  I kinda wish it was dark chocolate though.
Dark Chocolate with Mate and Cacao Nibs - Mmmmm I love cacao nibs. I bet this would be really smoky because of the Mate.
Dark Chocolate with Raspberry Rooibos - Eh...not as excited for this one.
Dark Chocolate with Green Earl Grey Tea - I don't know how I feel about green tea + chocolate, but why not.

You can buy them here for $3.85 per bar.  That seems a little high considering you will have to pay for shipping...I'll probably hold out and see if I can find them at Wegman's or some other specialty grocery store.

What do you think?  Do these appeal to you at all, or am I an anomaly?

Thanks to The Kitchn for the tip!

Duff Goldman's Cake Baking Supplies

Check out The Kitchn for their post of Duff Goldman's new baking supply line.

They seem pretty interesting, and fun to look at the next time I go to Michael's Craft Store, but I'm not sure I would ever buy any of these.  I'm not really a tattoo-cake kind of person :)

What do you think about the products?  Do you watch Charm City Cakes?  I actually don't have cable, so it's not something that I watch, though I am still excited a Baltimorean has become such a celebrity!

Current Food Obsessions

JULIE'S SORBET AND CREAM
I found this at Wegmans and now I want to buy stock in this stuff.  The Mandarin sorbet is the perfect combination of sweet and tangy, and then mix that with the swirls of wonderfully luxurious vanilla ice cream?  OMGGGGGGGGGGGG.  Seriously, I am so in love with this I can't wait to try all the other flavors.  I LOVE mixing sorbets and ice creams, in fact I do that when I go to Pitango Gelato and when I go to Rita's I always like to get an Italian Ice with Custard.  So basically, this is a match made in my personal heaven.

BUTTER

Ever since I got my bread maker, I've been loving breakfasts of toast, butter and jam.  However, I decided recently that the sticks of butter I buy for baking just wasn't cutting it for my morning toast with tea.  It was time for the real deal.  I bought a tub of Mendon Creamery Butter (slightly salted) from Wegmans and it's yummy.  It's perfect for my toast, since I want the butter to be subtle and not overpower my delicious jam, and I prefer to use salted butter to balance out its sweetness.  I have also taken to use butter on my sandwiches instead of mayo or mustard.  I love butter SO MUCH.  Why did I forget about this?  In England we used to have bread and butter sandwiches and they were delightful!

Basically, ask me in about a month if my pants still fit.

Yesterday's Dinner is Today's Lunch

I can't wait for dinner leftovers for lunch.  Yesterday I used the Trader Joe's Punjab Spinach Sauce, added a block of extra-firm tofu (cut up into small blocks) and served it over Basmati rice.  It's a tomato based sauce with spinach (obviously).

Excellent!

Kashi's Mayan Harvest Bake

In slightly Earth Day-ish fashion, I ate a vegan frozen meal today for lunch (this wasn't really planned....I was just running incredibly late this morning):  Mayan Harvest Bake by Kashi (I only eat Kashi and Amy's frozen meals because I can understand their ingredient list).

This was probably the best frozen meal I've ever eaten.  It was flavorful, filling and unusual, what more can you ask for when something is only 340 calories and comes on a plastic tray!?

According to the website it has "Plantains with roasted sweet potato, black beans and kale. Spicy ancho sauce with pumpkin seed garnish served over Kashi seven whole grain polenta, plus amaranth."

The plantains were sweet, the roasted potatoes were soft, and I apparently love polenta!  The spicy ancho sauce worked well with the sweetness of the plantains, and don't worry, it's not too spicy.

Overall, I thought this was great and I will definitely get this again and again.

Weekend Randomness - My love for Nutella and my Go-To Weekend Meal

I wrote this email to my friends this morning, and I thought I would share so that you can see how crazy I am about food. I'm not sure if I show you my true kookoo nature on this blog :)

so i bought nutella for a nice treat to have on raisin bread......
but oh crap i want some now on just my plain white bread :o/

I SHOULD NEVER HAVE OPENED THIS CAN OF WORMS AKA NUTELLA

NOW I AM DREAMING ABOUT NUTELLA CREPES WITH BANANAS

NUTELLA CREPES WITH GRAND MARNIER

NUTELLLA SANDWICHES

NUTELLA ICE CREAM

NUTELLA ON A SPOON AND INTO MY MOUTH

it's too early to be this crazy

As you can tell, I LOVE NUTELLA SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I restrained myself and I had my usual brunch this morning, which I'm not sure I've ever told you about! But let me start from the beginning.

WELL, one day I came home after work and Dan had a huge bouquet of flowers propped up against this big box covered with a blanket. After coming down from my initial high over the GORGEOUS flowers, I asked him what the box was, and he said nothing - just a prop for the bouquet. After a little while, when I went to pick up the blanket - I uncovered a box FOR A BREADMAKER

OMG

I OWN A BREADMAKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This one in fact. It is amazing. It changed my life and the amount of carbs I eat everyday. I make bread ALL the time now because it's so easy and I love the taste of it!!!! Also, can I just stop and mention how awesome Dan is!!!!!! I've wanted a bread maker for so long, and my need for one was exacerbated by the snowstorm when all I wanted to do was eat fresh bread that entire week hahahahaha

So, anyway, with two slices of the very best bread in the world, I add some almond butter and jam.

I usually buy this Maranatha No Stir Almond Butter from Wegman's because I've tried the butters where you have to stir and it's usually a pain and the bottom of the jar is always too dry. This kind is great. I love crunchy butters! They're the best kind :)

I don't really have any brand loyalty for jam, but recently the Superfresh had a sale on Bonne Maman's jams, so I picked up some Raspberry Preserves and it's quite delicious! P.S. their website is very pretty, but also entirely in French. Anyone have a favorite jam I should check out?

Then, of course, to round out the meal I make myself a cup of Yorkshire Tea Gold.

It's a pretty spectacular brunch and it keeps me full for HOURS, which is why I love it on the weekends.

Anyway, back to my crazy love for Nutella - well, I made raisin bread the other day and it was just fantastic! I kept thinking that if I bought some Nutella, then it would be like eating melted raisinets (aka the best movie theater candy ever) on bread. How delicious does that sound? Very delicious.

And that, my friends, is my morning post hahahahaha

P.S. I am sure you know, but just in case you don't - I am running a contest for a $25 McCormick & Schmick's gift certificate. Comment here to enter.

Perfect Cookies for Spring Training Fever

I was alerted to a new product offered by Cooperstown Cookie Company - A Camden Yards Stadium Tin filled with 4 bunt packs (shortbread cookies), which come out to 12 in total, for $10.99. I reviewed their cookies in October and really liked them, especially because they were all-natural.

They also offer tins from other ball parks.....but we're not interested in any of those, are we! :)

You can buy these tins, or other specialty Orioles Baseball packs on their website: http://www.cooperstowncookie.com/

Let's talk about yogurt for a second. I love it and eat a lot of it, especially in the morning topped with my mama's homemade granola (SO GOOD YUMMM)

I found the glory of greek yogurt, but I also like Stonyfield and Wegman's Organic Low Fat Vanilla styles as well. I choose low fat over fat free because it's a much better consistency.
However, I love trying new things of course, so when I was in Wegman's (Hunt Valley, MD) and looking through their Organic section, I came across this Icelandic-style yogurt (skyr) called Siggi's. I picked up the Pomegranate and Passion fruit flavor to try and was VERY excited! So what did I think? WOH it was TART. My lips definitely puckered up a number of times the first few spoonfuls. I still enjoyed the flavor though, I just wasn't expecting it. The other thing I wasn't expecting was how thick it was, it took my forever to eat the one pot just because it was so thick and tart it almost stuck to my mouth. In all honesty, I probably wouldn't get this again - I've realized I like my yogurt a little bit sweeter than that, and not as thick. I mean, it was thicker than greek-style yogurt!!!! I'm glad I tried it though.

The next new brand I've found (at Superfresh on Timonium Road, 21093) is Chobani's (greek yogurt) Champions yogurt, and my pack came with honeynana and chocolate. OMG I LOVE honey + bananas + yogurt and I LOVE chocolate. I thought that this yogurt pack was made for me. I tried the honeynana first and unfortuantely I was very disappointed. The banana flavor is overwhelming, and tastes VERY chemically. When are flavor-makers going to realize that they don't need to overdo the banana taste? However, the consistency was great - thick, yet light and smooth. The chocolate flavor was my favorite. I've had chocolate yogurt before and I've never liked as much as I wanted to, but Chobani gets it right. I think it's because it's a thicker yogurt, so it feels like a lovely treat. I would definitely get the chocolate flavor again if I found it away from it Honeynana pack-mate.

And these are my yogurt thoughts for the day :) Any favorites you have to share??

Izze's Sparkling Juices

I'm trying to be better about eating naturally, so diet soda was something I wanted to give up. This wasn't too hard for me since I usually only have soda as a treat, however, since I still enjoy fizziness I turned to Izze. I first tried the juice at Chipotle but now I buy them by the pack at Wegman's.

What I love about Izze is that they aren't full of gross chemicals, and yet still delicious! As it says on the bottle, it's "All natural. No refined sugars. No caffeine. No preservatives. It's 70% pure fruit juice with a splash of sparking water."

I love this stuff! My favorite flavor is the refreshing Sparkling Clementine, which tastes just like orange soda (YUM). I also really like the Sparkling Pomegranate and Sparkling Grapefruit.

To all my natural food friends - any other yummy natural sodas? I've never tried Jones Sodas, are they any good?

Are You a Tea Drinker?

Since I've been feeling a bit under the weather, tea has been my new best friend and there are two kinds that I've been drinking lately.

My staple for the mornings has been Yorkshire Gold, (p.s., on their website, doesn't that Tea Loaf look spectacular????) a really rich black tea that warms my body entirely while transporting me to the misty moors of England (in Wellington Boots and a raincoat of course!).

The next kinds are the jasmine tea and chamomile citrus tea from Mighty Leaf tea. These herbal teas are perfect for the times when you don't want any caffiene, but just some extra warmth. I also love that they come in these delightful bio-degradeable silk pouches, which allows them to add large pieces of rind or tea for better infusing.

I've got to say though, once I start feeling better, I'll be filling my to-go mug with some freshly brewed coffee, but I'll always remember my tea days fondly :)

What are your favorite tea brands or flavors? Does it change to something different when you're sick?

A Popchips Present!

Over the break, I found a package for me at my door. I automatically thought it was a Christmas present from Dan, so decided to avoid it, however I realized it was addressed to me from Popchips!!!! I'm not sure if you remember, but in October I had written about Popchips and their deliciousness! Aren't they so nice to have sent me this in the mail......

All different varieties to try! Oh I was a happy snacker over the break. In fact, my whole family and I happily snacked!

Here are the different flavors:
Original - my favorite
Cheddar
Sour Cream and Onion
Salt and Pepper - my other favorite
Parmesan Garlic
Barbeque
Sea Salt and Vinegar

Just like I said before, I love popchips for their crunchiness! Also, since I am trying to cut back on my snacking after the holidays, if I still need my salt + crunch this is a good way to go, especially because each bag is only 120 calories each! Personally I like the more original flavors, but I was surprised to find that I did enjoy the Cheddar and BBQ as well. I usually don't like those flavors of regular chips, but the flavoring is much more subtle!

Anyway, give them a try! Apparently you can get them in Costco now, but I've seen them everywhere lately

p.s. Popchips did send me this box for free, but they didn't even ask me to review them! These comments are all my own opinion.

Edible Arrangements

I became a fan of Edible Arrangements on Facebook, and to thank me they sent me a coupon for a free box of chocolate covered fruit (usual price is $15). Awesome!

I picked up my free box at the Lutherville store and went home to devour them. My box had 2 pineapple pieces, 2 strawberries and 2 apple segments covered with semi-sweet chocolate.

And the verdict? They were good. Surprisingly good, especially considering pineapple and strawberries are not really in season right now. And yet, they were deliciously ripe and had a perfect amount of sweetness that contracted well with the semi-sweet chocolate coating.

However, let's be honest here. $15? $15 for 6 pieces of fruit covered with a coating that I could whip up myself if I had some chocolate chips + 30 secs in the microwave? Seems too steep for me. And although I think it's awesome that they offer incredibly ripe fruit, it almost seems too incredible. Too unreal. It makes my mind start wondering about possible additives/chemicals that are involved in keeping the fruit fresh and sweet.

I am very thankful to try the product - what a great coupon! However, I can't justify buying this box of fruit, especially knowing I can easily make it myself.

p.s. Talking about Edible Arrangements, my Bloggy pal over at DenuFood made his own Edible Arrangement from fruit and it's AWESOME: http://www.denufood.com/2009/10/fruit-arrangement.html

Is anyone here a big Edible Arrangements fan? Am I missing something?

Cooperstown Cookie Company

Cooperstown Cookie Company contacted me recently to try one of their cookies –Bunts – the classic shortbread baseball cookies.

Why are they called baseball cookies? Cause they’re shaped like baseballs and they come in cute baseball packages that you can customize based on your own Major League Baseball Team!

The best part of these cookies, to me, is that they have 5 ingredients! Sorry about the terrible picture below, but I was so excited when I saw this! How often do you pick up a package of something and not understand a word of the ingredients? It says Unbleached flour, butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Wow. I know what all of those words mean :)

And how do they taste? Like shortbread! Classic shortbread: buttery and not-too-sweet. It's great that you can find natural cookies, with real ingredients, and not have to sacrifice taste!

So check out the website: www.cooperstowncookiecompany.com and let me know what you think. There are lots of other cookies to purchase as well. These cookies would be a great gift for a Baseball lover!

10/28/09 UPDATE: Here is the new website: http://www.cooperstowncookie.com/

DISCLAIMER: Cooperstown Cookie Company sent me free cookies to try, but in no way was I paid for my opinions!
