What a gorgeous weekend for playing around outside! Don't forget the Baltimore Farmer's Market (underneath the JFX) is opening on Sunday (at 7AM!). I don't think I'll be able to make it this time around since I'll be singing in the morning. Let me know if you go and what you get. I'll be dreaming about the donuts...and the fresh produce of course :)
Here are some other events to ponder:
Swing into Spring at Basignani Winery, May 1-2nd, 12-5PM
Basignani Winery will be celebrating the release of their sweet wines: 2009 Riesling and 2009 Vidal. Their two semi-sweet wines: Marisa Dolce and Monkton Moon Delight. For $8pp desserts, a glass and wine tasting will be included and you are encouraged to bring a picnic and relax with your favorite wine! Vineyard hayrides will be available as well!
15722 Falls Road, Sparks MD
Chesapeake Oyster Festival at Woodberry Kitchen, May 2nd, 3-5PM
Woodberry Kitchen is serving up Chesapeake Oysters in a variety of ways! They are offering preparations of oysters such as fritters, grilled oysters, and soup. Other local spring treats will be available, as well as beer, local wine, cocktails and homemade lemonade! There will also be live music – all outside on the patio!
