Happy Earth Day!
In all seriousness though, after all that I am learning and reading about the meat industry, I sometimes wonder about becoming a vegetarian. But then Dan talks about grilling and I snap out of my crazy dreams. Who am I kidding? I LOVE meat. But perhaps I can be a little bit better about the meat that I choose, and perhaps I can eat less, especially since the meat industry is terrible for the environment.*** So I've been eating vegetarian lunches and even cooking more vegetarian dinners! I consider it a success that Dan hasn't noticed.... yet :)
Is anyone doing anything today or this weekend to celebrate Earth Day? Planning on attending any Earth Day activities?

I'm thinking about buying some washable napkins. We use about a zillion paper towels a week, and even though I buy Seventh Generation ones, I still feel bad. Napkins would be a big help!

We have been trying to be more conscientious about where we purchase our meat, too. My fiancee read "Eating Animals" by Jonathan Safran Foer and it made us a little ill. We haven't gone vegetarian, but we try to be much more careful about our meat consumption.
