Duff Goldman's Cake Baking Supplies

Check out The Kitchn for their post of Duff Goldman's new baking supply line.

They seem pretty interesting, and fun to look at the next time I go to Michael's Craft Store, but I'm not sure I would ever buy any of these.  I'm not really a tattoo-cake kind of person :)

What do you think about the products?  Do you watch Charm City Cakes?  I actually don't have cable, so it's not something that I watch, though I am still excited a Baltimorean has become such a celebrity!

all i know about Duff and his cakes boils down to one thing: it's a shame he got famous. his cakes were good before the fame went to his head. now, box mixes taste better than his crap.

Yea, I've heard that his cakes aren't that tasty - though the designs are always fabulous. I guess it really depends on what the client wants. Me? I want a delicious cake!

Nakiya, I'm with you. I like that someone from Baltimore has become so big, but I don't watch Charm City cakes. I saw his line at Michael's the other day. The products look fun - bright colors, cool packaging - but I think it's more fun to try to decorate cakes myself (even though it doesn't always work out!). I may try his sprinkles/colored sugars one day though!

You're right, Jen, the sugars would be fun to play with, especially when I make cookies over the Holidays!
