Yay Clementine! I love this restaurant and the fruit that bears your name!

Though I would not usually want to order something labeled as a "Gut Buster," I couldn't help admiring the description of Joe-Joe's Gut Buster: Our Delectable Mac and Cheese with Green Chile Braised Chili, Sour Cream, Spring Onion and Queso Fresco ($12).

I am so thankful to my friend for recommending this to me - it was SUPER! The ULTIMATE comfort dish. The macaroni and cheese was baked into these huge wedges and it was so decadent! The chili, though, was my favorite part of the meal even though I wouldn't really call it chili, more like shredded beef. There was absolutely enough to take the next day for lunch, and I cannot tell you how happy I was to heat up my lunch that day!!!! I would absolutely go here again, though it would be hard to order anything else!

I also must say that the restaurant itself is quite inviting- very open and brightly colored, I really loved the decor. What a lovely place!
