Gator?!

Just a quick note to say I tried gator this weekend!!!!!!!!!!  Gator bites!!!!
I was in Florida this weekend for a lovely wedding in Clearwater Beach and on Saturday afternoon we decided to get a lunch of seafood and beach-y drinks (read: rum + any kind of juice) and we ended up trying Gator bites as an appetizer!  I was proud of myself, I'm usually slightly nervous about eating different kinds of meat.

I hate to say that it tasted like chicken....but it really did.  Granted, the breading probably aided in the mind trick, but still very similar!

Also, I had a lovely blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich with a side of coleslaw and chips.  It was great!  We went here: Crabby Bill's
