Friday Morning Haiku

I love salty chips
Give me some guacamole
Or even salsa

I've been thinking recently that I eat Chipotle way too much.  I know this is something I should not admit on a blog where I talk about a variety of restaurants and stuff....but I can't help loving the sweet sweet taste of Chipotle.  I think I need to expand my horizons.  Please give me suggestions for AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurants, please!

So far I've been to:
 - Tropical Grill in Cockeysville, which also has Salvadorian food on their menu, and has amazing pupusas
- Mari Luna Mexican Grill in Pikesville, which I LOVED and I am not sure why I keep forgetting about that place
- El Guapito's in Mt. Vernon, which is too far from work now to go for lunch :( :(  I need to go back for dinner.  I loved this place as well!!!

Help me expand my list!!!!!

Maybe Fiesta Mexicana? I just thought it was okay but everyone else seems to love them!

um, EL SALTO, hello?!?!?!

the guacamole is like airy clouds of avocado, everything is so fresh - add cheap jumbo margaritas to the mix = heaven

It looks like I seriously need to go to Fiesta Mexicana STAT. Also, Bria, I've been to El Salto but it's been so long now that I don't remember what I ate or whether I loved it. I think I did? I NEED TO GO THERE SOON TOO!

Nacho Mama's has hubcap margaritas, and huge (and amazing) portions. Blue Agave in Federal Hill is really great too, though it is on the pricey side

Naco Mama's is good, but not what I would consider Authentic Mexican. I'd check out Arco's in Fells Pt, that place is yummy. I recent place I discovered which is just like my fav place back in Michigan is near BWI airport, Los Portales. Amazing margaritas and food, not too expensive either

Hubcap margaritas??? That sounds incredibly dangerous hahahaha. I've never been to Nacho Mama's, but that's mostly due to the fact that I dread finding parking in Canton.

I've never heard of Los Portales, but I just looked at the menu - and WOW good prices! Thanks for the tip!

Arcos looks delicious, but MUCH more expensive than the others. You think it's worth it?

I understand the Chipotle addiction. It is my favorite chain restaurant AND fast food restaurant.

Lista's in Pasadena. Completely worth the drive! From appetizers to desserts we have never been disappointed. The only complaint is that its closed on Sundays so plan a visit carefully.
